Alexis Van Hurkman (Writer, Director) has written, directed, and worked in postproduction for over 12 years. As a writer, he has completed four feature length scriptsFour Weeks, Four Hours, Dating the Devil, The Vampire Hunters, and Walking to Frackville. He has also written the show guide and pilot for a half-hour comedy seriesStarship Detritus, and directed several short subjects including Peace and Quiet and the radio serial Deadpan Alley. Four Weeks, Four Hours is his first feature-length production. Alexis has also done a combination of editorial, broadcast design, and visual effects work for such companies as Studio144, Berkeley Systems, Atari, Rough House Editorial, the Kenwood Group, and the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC). He contributed effects work to Matthew Barney's productionCremaster 5. Alexis collaborated with the video artist Harrel Fletcher on a piece in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Exhibit, (Super)extra[meta], and which has shown in video art galleries around the world including the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, in their biennial exhiibit of emerging artists. Alexis was also the assistant producer, postproduction supervisor, and editor for the video short, Sleep Tight. Alexis has also worked as a consultant for both SGI and Alias-Wavefront, and for two years taught classes in digital video post production at BAVC. He is presently employed at Apple Computer, Inc. where for three years he wrote the user manual for Apples well known Final Cut Pro video editing software, and contributes to Apple's Motion and Shake user manuals. He currently resides in Los Angeles. |

Jonathan Crosby (Producer) As a director, Mr. Crosby's Looking For Sly has garnered numerous awards, including Best Documentary Short at both the LA International Short Film Festival and South by Southwest. As a producer, Mr. Crosby's most recent documentary, Fighter, was released in February 2000 by Films Transit Releasing. In addition, Mr. Crosby has edited award-winning children's programming for PBS, acted as co-producer for 93 Million Miles from the Sun (honored by the Berlin Film Festival), and worked as Director of Photography on Brothers, winner of the Kodak Emerging Filmmaker Award, among others. |

Leon Acord (Peter) played suspected serial killer "Henry Parks" in the suspense thriller Mortified, coming soon. He is perhaps best known (so far!) as "Devon" in the feature film Some Prefer Cake, which was distributed theatrically in Great Britain and is available on video in the U.S. Hes played principal roles in numerous features and short films, including the award-winning Breath, About Dominance & Submission, Orange Field, 1 or 2 Things About , Im Screwed, OUT and Metalman. He s also played leading roles on stage as well -- in his one-man show Last Sunday in June, as well as in productions with New Conservatory Theatre Center, Theatre Rhinoceros, Crowded Fire, Theater Rhubarb, Venue 9, and others. Scott Abraham (Phillip) attended UC Santa Cruz where he developed a passion for acting and the stage. He continued his training with the acclaimed South Coast Repertory Theater and went on to travel the world with the provocative Mehmet Sander Company. He has been seen on Caroline in the City, the independent film Blue Shark Hash, and in his collaborations with director Alexis Van Hurkman including Peace & Quiet and Deadpan Alley. |

KayLynn Raschke (Samantha) is an actor, writer, dancer and vocalist. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, she has appeared on both stage and screen. She has spent the last three years touring her one woman play, Lady and the Hoover throughout the US and Canada. She was a lead singer and dancerwith the group Itzago and a member of the Footloose Dance Theater. She has been seen most recently as Sadie in the Town Hall Theater production of Somerset Maughams Rain, and "Shirley" on the Nash Bridges episode, Crosstalk. |

Christine Blake (Frances) has appeared in several recent films, with principal roles in the feature The Brass Ring, and the short subjects The Arms of Venus, Hindsight, and Last Call (accepted to the Boston film festival). Her stage work includes the roles of Ruth, Henri, and Orphan in the Boston premiere of Paula Vogels And Baby Makes Seven, and as Cara in the world premiere of Lou Redas Happy Anniversary at Theater Rhinoceros. Christine was also a member of Bostons Most Sublime Improv Troupe, Renegade Duck. |

Keith Michael Phillips (Albert) has been active on the stage and in several short subjects. On stage, he has played the role of "Orsino in CSUH's production of Hamlet, "Prof. Willard" in Our Town, "Pony" in Suburbia, and "John" in The Beginning of It All. On film, he has performed the role of "Charles Van Doren" in the S.F. State Film Project, Quiz Show, and has appearences in several locally shot features, nationwide commercials, and the television series Nash Bridges. |
