The decision was easy...
As Peter tries to settle into his new relationship, his best friend Phillip resolves to break the pair up. What began as a casual affair turns into an outrageous tug of war over Peter's soul as his friends risk everything to stop Peter from Dating the Devil...
Dating the Devil is a romantic comedy about the web of relationships among three friends. Peter daydreams of personal and professional success even though he's too insecure to pursue it. His best friend, Philip, struggles with the horrors of being single. Their mutual friend Frances seems to have both a successful career and relationship, yet is still not content. Their friendship is tested when Samantha, Peters enigmatic new girlfriend, reveals to him that she is, literally, the Devil.
Overcoming his initial misgivings, Peter decides that it's easier to overlook this new aspect of their relationship than to go back to the agony of dating. Taking Samanthas word that damning you would be too much like work," the two embark upon an unlikely romance.
Peter's happiness is rudely interrupted when Philip stumbles upon Samatha's secret. Jealous of their relationship and fearful of its outcome, Philip decides to rescue Peter from the consequences of being Satan's boyfriend. Frances, an atheist, is convinced that the whole situation is a hoax but finds herself grappling with relationship problems of her own when her boyfriend joins Phillip's campaign to save Peter.
Phillip carries out one bizarre scheme after another as he attempts to drive Samantha from their midst. The situation strains everyone's friendship to the breaking point as events speed towards their inevitable conclusion!
